Playing the games
Monday, March 30th, 2009The big-picture answer to the question is often a tough one to come up with. Not everyone knows exactly where they want to be one year from now, or ten years from now, and on down the line. Yet, I find that by simply attempting to answer the question multiple times each day, I get closer and closer to defining my overall idea of success, and thus closer to understanding how to achieve it.
But the big picture isn’t the whole picture. While understanding what will make you feel like a success in the future and figuring out how to achieve that success should be your overall career goal, every day you are faced with a handful of situations that you can apply this question to. The reason I ask myself question 5 every hour of every working day is so that I can focus on feeling like a winner and a success in everything I do, big or small.
